About

Professional Background

With over 30 years of experience in healthcare finance and management, I have had the privilege of working with some of the most prominent organizations in the industry. My journey includes serving as Executive Director at Stanford University Healthcare, six years in consulting with renowned firms such as PwC and Deloitte, and six years running my own operations consulting business, TGW Consulting. Throughout my career, I have earned a reputation for driving results, fostering collaborative environments, and leading high-performing teams. I am a Health and Wellness Coach certified in Menopause coach specialist and hold a Master’s degree in organizational management, which enhances my ability to work with individuals and organizations alike.

My Personal Journey with Menopause

My personal journey with menopause began in my late 30s, and like so many other women, I was unprepared for what was happening to my body. I was diagnosed with hyperthyroidism, which led to irregular menstrual cycles, hair shedding, dry skin, and weight gain around my midsection and noticed changes in my energy levels. At the time, I didn’t have the language or the understanding to connect these symptoms to the possibility that I could be entering menopause. By the time I turned 40, I was post-menopausal—and I hadn’t even realized it was happening. Menopause wasn’t something that was talked about in my circles, and even when I consulted with healthcare professionals, the conversation about menopause simply didn’t happen.

Looking back, I realize how little information and support there was for women like me, going through one of the most significant transitions in life. I often wonder how different my experience would have been if I had been properly educated or had someone to guide me through the process. This sense of isolation and confusion could have been avoided!

A Calling to Help Others

I’m telling you this because my story is not unique—and that’s why I’m so passionate about helping other women navigate their menopause journey. It took me years to truly understand what was happening to my body. And it wasn’t until I prayed about finding my purpose that God answered me with one word: “Menopause.” It was then that I knew this was my calling—to break the silence around menopause, help women understand their symptoms, and empower them to take control of their health and well-being.

Changing the Narrative Around Menopause

Menopause has long been treated as a taboo topic, something that women just have to “suffer through” quietly. But I believe that we can change the narrative. Menopause doesn’t have to be something women endure alone. It’s a stage of life that we can approach with knowledge, support, and even celebration of our strength and resilience.

It impacts all aspects of a woman’s life—her career, relationships, and overall well-being. That’s why I focus on a holistic approach that helps women manage their symptoms while also addressing the emotional and social challenges that often accompany menopause. Whether it’s hot flashes, mood swings, anxiety, or weight gain, my goal is to help women feel more in control of their lives during this transition.

My Coaching Approach

My coaching is designed to help women identify their unique triggers, explore different treatment options (whether lifestyle changes, natural remedies, or medical interventions like hormone replacement therapy), and create personalized wellness plans. Every woman’s experience with menopause is different, which is why my approach is never one-size-fits-all.

Through group coaching sessions, I’ve seen the power of community and shared experiences. There’s something incredibly healing about being in a space where you know others understand exactly what you’re going through. This is why I also foster online communities where women can share their stories, ask questions, and provide support to one another.

Beyond Coaching—Creating Menopause-Friendly Workplaces

Menopause doesn’t just affect a woman’s personal life—it can significantly impact her career, especially in environments that aren’t supportive. Too often, women suffer in silence, feeling embarrassed to talk about their symptoms, or afraid that their career will be negatively impacted. By creating inclusive policies and educating leadership teams, I help organizations build environments where employees can thrive during every stage of life, including menopause.

My Mission

My mission is simple: to ensure no woman has to navigate menopause alone. I’m here to provide the education, support, and community that I wish I had when I was going through it. Together, we can shift the narrative around menopause and empower women to thrive through this transition rather than merely survive it.

Let’s Thrive Together

Whether you’re a woman experiencing symptoms of menopause, a partner trying to better understand what your loved one is going through, or an organization looking to support your female workforce, I’m here to help.

Let’s connect, learn, and thrive together.
